Kiddos, start your engines! (Power car engines, that is.)

El Paso’s Parks and Recreation Department is having a power car racing event on March 17 at Marty Robbins Park, 11600 Vista Del Sol Dr. Kids aged 4 to 9 years old will have the opportunity to put their petal to the metal and race along with other kids in their own power cars. The event will feature an obstacle course designed for separate age groups in the Marty Robbins Park parking lot. All kids participating must bring their own helmet.


 

Registration is required by March 12(Editors note: Registration is still open as of Friday, March 16) and will cost $10 per power car. Vendor booths are also available for $45, while food booths are available for $65. To register, visit here. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
