Nearly 50,000 revved up motorsports fans will stuff into Sun Bowl Stadium on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 to see the 2018 version of the ultimate dirt-flying, car-crushing action, Monster Jam.

It’s one of El Paso’s top three most attended annual events, known for its non-stop fast-paced action. From racing to freestyle competitions, the two and half hour show will keep you on the edge of your seat as you witness the 10,000-pound monsters hop around the Sun Bowl while they joyfully crush the tiny cars below them. The show is filled with tons of surprises, such as in 2016 when two Grave Digger’s emerged during the freestyle segment, only to finish the show completely totaled and laying on their roofs.

The event will feature 14 monster trucks from all over the country, including Barbarian, Black Stallion, Bounty Hunter, Gas Monkey Garage, and of course, The Grave Digger, a local favorite.

Tickets usually sell out for the Saturday show, which begins at 7 pm. The Sunday show is at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 per person and may be purchased at the UTEP Ticket Centers or any Ticketmaster outlet. (UTEP Ticket Centers charge fewer fees.) A special Pit Party will be held on the course, where guests can meet the drivers and see the trucks up close and personal. It will be on March 3 at 2:30 to 5:30 pm, tickets for that event are $10 and may only be purchased at check out with your Saturday night show ticket.
