One of El Paso’s most unique flea markets will be returning for their first event of the year at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 11 at Whole Foods Market in West El Paso.

It’s called the El Paso Punk Rock Flea Market, and if the name isn’t any indication of what the environment is like, the promotional flyers pretty much make it clear: this isn’t your every-weekend Fox Plaza flea market. The chances of you seeing a dancing Star Wars character at some point during the day is very high. (This is real.)

The event’s theme is Strange Love. There will have tarot card readings and even a henna tattoo artist. (Henna tattoos are temporary markings that last several days and are usually placed on hands and feet.) Couples are invited to enter the “How well do you know your boo thang?” for a chance to win door prizes. The contests will be at 2, 3, and 4 p.m. There will also be live music by local bands and dozens of vendors, artists, and food trucks. The Thunderbird Taproom inside Whole Foods Market will be serving beer on tap.

Whole Foods Market is located at 100 Pitt St, near Resler and Mesa St. The El Paso Punk Rock Flea Market is free to attend and is open to the public.
