The city of El Paso’s Parks and Recreation Department says that they’ll be turning off the lights at San Jacinto Plaza this Sunday, January 7.

The park has been transformed into a twinkle light paradise with nearly half a million lights covering every section of the plaza. San Jacinto is also home to one of the largest designated Christmas trees in Texas. Large decorations scattered around the park provide an excellent opportunity to get that holiday photo with friends or loved ones. La Placita Cafe offers refreshments from hot chocolate to full meals.

San Jacinto Plaza is open every day, the lights are on from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
