The El Paso County Coliseum will be host to hundreds of tattoo artists from around the world on St. Patty’s Day weekend.
The eighth annual Showdown Festival will return to a new date after a one year hiatus. It’ll take place on March 16-18. There will be live tattooing during the event by several well-known artists, however, what makes this event particularly interesting are all of the side attractions that come included; such as the human suspension and freak shows, and the custom bike shows, which include lowrider motorcycles and a motorcycle rally. Vince Neil, the voice of Motley Crue will perform the bands biggest hits on the first night of the event. There will also be live music all day and hundreds of vendors selling El Paso favorite street food. Stars from Paramount Network’s Ink Master will also attend.
The event is one of the largest of its kind in the entire world and is owned entirely by artists. Everyone under 12 will be free. Tickets are $25 per day, per person or $60 for a weekend pass and may be purchased at any Ticketmaster outlet.
