The 27th annual Spooktacular returns to the El Paso County Coliseum on October 14 at 10 a.m.

The event is El Paso’s largest indoor Halloween carnival and has attractions for all age groups, including a costume contest with prizes, haunted house, cake walk, children’s game area, pumpkin decorating, live entertainment, crafts, activities and a variety of vendor booths, all the while providing a safe and fun environment for the holiday celebration. The event is organized by the Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso.

Tickets will cost $5 for adults, $4 for youth and free for ages 2 and under. Military discounts also will be available, however prices were not provided in time for publication. Advance tickets are $3 and can be purchased from Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso club members. Also, a coupon for $1 off a youth ticket is available here(.PDF).

The Junior Woman’s Club of El Paso, founded in 1934, is a non-profit, service-based, volunteer organization dedicated to improving the community. The club annually hosts Spooktacular to raise funds for charitable organizations across the borderland.
