It’s that spooky time of year when you dress up and walk the streets of El Paso begging your neighbors for food (or candy.)

No matter how you participate in Halloween, the point is that you do, in some way partake in the activities. That’s according to new information compiled by WalletHub, which ranked El Paso 16 out of 100 cities in America when it comes to celebrating Halloween. The study also says that the average El Pasoan/American will shell out $86.13 this year on Halloween decorations, costumes, candy and other Halloween related expenses.

Of course, the biggest expense will come from costumes.

“[WalletHub] compared the 100 largest U.S. cities based on 18 key metrics. They range from costume stores per capita to average price per Halloween party ticket to share of potential trick-or-treat stops,” said a statement on the company website.
