When I asked our fans to submit information on El Paso businesses helping those affected by the Hurricane’s aftermath in Houston, my inbox was flooded with more than 100 messages. We’re so blessed to live in a community that bands together – not only when our own need the help, but when our state calls for aid.

Please note that government organizations are saying that the best way to help is to donate money to the following organizations:

• Salvation Army – feeding evacuees and first responders.
• El Pasoans Fighting Hunger – will use money donated to buy food for evacuees.
• Humane Society of El Paso – will go to food, bowls, a warm blanket, a crate, toys and transportation for animals affected by the Hurricane.
