Mexico and the U.S. National Arena Soccer Team – one of the biggest rivalries in the world, will face off in an epic showdown at 6 p.m. Sunday, September 17, at the El Paso County Coliseum, 4100 E. Paisano.
The fast-moving, arena soccer battle is hosted by the city’s only professional arena soccer team, the El Paso Coyotes, who recently signed several of Mexico’s top national team members. The Coyotes compete in the Major Arena Soccer League, which represents the highest level of professional arena soccer in the world.
“Some of the best players in the world are coming to El Paso to showcase the game of arena soccer,” said Bernie Lilavois, general manager of the USNAST. “We want to thank the El Paso Coyotes for hosting this game and hope that fans will come out, check out what arena soccer is all about and support both this game and the El Paso Coyotes as well in the future.”
Tickets are $13, $20 and $27, plus fees, and will go on sale at 10 a.m. August 26 at the El Paso County Coliseum Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 800-745-3000 and online at ticketmaster.com. The team is offering fans a free ticket to the USA-Mexico match with the purchase of the Coyote Club Card, the team’s season pass to all 11 of the Coyotes home games, a special Coyotes jersey and more. The Coyote Club Card costs $149.
