Dogs aren’t just pets, they’re a part of our family. They protect our home when we’re not there, they cuddle up with us when we need some company and they make excellent companions. So it’s only fair that we give them some love in return. In El Paso, several dog parks allow your furry friend to break free from the leash and run like the wind. Please remember to pick up after your dogs. Doggy poop bags are available for free at all dog parks. Please note that all dogs should be vaccinated and non-violent to participate in the dog parks.

Here are our three favorite dog parks in El Paso.

Pebble Hills Bark Park

The Pebble Hills Bark Park is an open field with several obstacle courses for training your pooch. Two areas separate big dogs from small. There aren’t many trees, so you’ll want to come by during a cloudy day or when the sun is about to go down.

Westside Dog Park

The Westside Dog Park is the busiest in the city. Like Pebble Hills, two areas separate big dogs from small ones. There are several shaded benches. Several people even donate dog toys and water bowls for you to use. Your four legged friend will likely make some friends here as you can usually find several families coming and going throughout the day.

Pavo Real Spray Park

The Pavo Real Spray Park is a dedicated water splash pad for dogs and comes with several water features that will keep your dog cool and entertained. Big dogs and small dogs are allowed in this park.
