Fall is just around the corner and area farmers are prepping their fields for a busy year at the corn mazes, including one of the most popular: La Union Maze.

The family friendly attraction is in its 17th year and has featured a different design every season. This year’s design will feature the El Paso Chihuahuas, which will have two baseball players on each end and Chico’s face in the middle, all of which will be connected to form a giant maze where you and your friends will spend time working your way from beginning to end.

In addition to the maze, there will be a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins, cow train rides, pig races, and even a mini maze for toddlers. La Union Maze opens to the public on September 23 and continues through November 5. Prices are $12 for ages 6 and over, $6 for ages 2 to 5, and $7 for Seniors. Ages 2 and under are free and military receive a $2 discount with ID and Military dependents ages 2-5 are $5. The busiest weekends are October 13-15, 20-22, 27-29.
