Move over Uber, there’s a new guy in town… and he comes with a pink mustache.
It’s taken nearly three years, but welcome to El Paso, Lyft.. the transportation network company, aka ridesharing app, or Uber’s worst nightmare launched Thursday morning in ten new markets and finally, El Paso made the cut.
“In just the first quarter of 2017, we’ve introduced Lyft to more than 100 new cities” said Jaime Raczka, Lyft’s head of early-stage markets and expansion. “This puts us nine months ahead of schedule in our rapid growth plan, and we are excited to continue this momentum of bringing safe and affordable rides to even more cities throughout the nation.”
Like Uber, users order a ride via their smartphones for a small fee which is relatively similar to Ubers. The company is also seeking drivers, to apply go to lyft.com
