The day has finally come, a very important day where all El Pasoans can celebrate our one true love — pizza.
The unofficial national holiday celebrates one of America’s favorite foods. In El Paso, these five spots make a mean pie that you’re going to want to try sooner than later.
We surveyed more than 200 El Pasoans on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, these were their top five favorite local pizza places in El Paso.
1. House of Pizza
A family owned and operated business, House of Pizza is one of El Paso’s oldest pizza joints… and the tastiest, too. Just one bite and you are HOOKED. Perfectly cooked pizza, the sauce is phenomenal, cheese and toppings were fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They also serve hot subs and spaghetti, which are just as amazingly delicious. Check this place out!

2. The Pizza Joint
Known for their massive pies, The Pizza Joint also serves slices bigger than your face, literally. This Hipster environment is a fun place to bring your group of friends. They even have board games you can play with while you wait for your food, which you may want to take advantage of since most orders take 20-30 minutes to make. The pizza is great, the wings are just as delicious.

3. Ardovino’s Pizza
Ardovino’s is another local favorite known for their gourmet pizzas and excellent service. One of the reasons this place is so popular is due to their Four Seasons Pizza, which dedicates a quarter of each of the pie to a unique blend of organic deliciousness. They also have great wine!

4. Nona’s Pizza
Coming in fourth place is Nona’s Pizza. A local hot spot with an awesome atmosphere and big selection of pies, such as the Gringo (favorite), Drunken Shrimp and Margherita. Great tasting pizza; from the crispy crust, to the sauce and all of the toppings. You can’t go wrong with the Gringo and a Sangria. You can even put honey on the crust after for a savory treat.
