It’s out with the old, and in with the new at one of El Paso’s iconic restaurants.
Chico’s Tacos has upgraded from paper bowls, to strong cardboard ones. So what’s the big deal? Well, the paper bowls were used pretty much since 1953, when the company opened its doors and began serving the now famous rolled tacos soaked in their top secret tomato-based sauce. Fast forward 66 years, the company has had to stack several of their paper bowls together before serving the meal, in order to keep all of that liquidy goodness from pouring out.
The company seems to have come up with a better idea: cardboard bowls. So next time you stop by for an order, don’t freak out.. it’s just Chico’s new look.
