Photos- The Most Instagramed Places in El Paso

El Paso is a big Instagram town.

According to the company, there are more than 35,000 daily users in the Sun City, and growing. (They wouldn’t give us an exact number.) The hashtag #elpaso has been used more than half a million times as well. We spoke with Instagram and asked for the top spots users in El Paso are taking photos. Here’s what we got..

1. Downtown

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. With the revival of downtown El Paso, this part of town is seeing it’s largest amount of foot traffic in decades. Some hot spots are the Chihuahuas games, the Prospect Bridge and Union Plaza.

2. Scenic Drive

Scenic Drive was almost tied with downtown, however it came in second place. Instagram users tag their photos at this location with the hashtag #elpaso more than any other spot in the city.

3. Transmountain

Instagram is meant for beautiful photographs, so it makes sense many El Pasoans go to Transmountain for that gorgeous shot. Many people like to show off their cars in photos at this place as well.

4. Loop 375/ The X

Sure, the X is in Mexico, however most of it’s photos come from this side of the border. According to Instagram, this is the fourth most popular spot that users take photos of in El Paso.

Everyone loves a great view, but what is better than our Franklin Mountains? Literally being in the sky. The El Paso Airport comes in fifth place for providing amazing views of our city.
