Spring is in the air, the weather is getting warmer and roses are blooming; which means the El Paso Rose Garden has once again opened it’s gates to the public.
The main attraction: 350 different types of roses and about 1,400 rose bushes. The garden is one of only 133 certified rose gardens in the United States. The minute you step foot into the gates, you are greeted with the scent of thousands of roses. Many people visit the garden while jogging, studying or practicing some photography. The garden is also a great spot for wedding receptions and may even be reserved for special occasions.
Newly installed amenities include a waterfall, new irrigation and over double the previous space of the facility. The design of the Rose Garden is second to none as it also has a pond with Koi fish, a walking path to view the extensive collection of roses along with a plaza area. The entire Rose Garden area spans over 4 acres.
The garden is free and open to the public.
