We’ve gone down this road before.. but this time it’s for real. El Paso, we are finally getting a Whole Foods!
The announcement was made today at the company’s fourth-quarter earnings report. Whole Foods has signed leases for 12 new locations, including one in El Paso. The high end organic and natural supermarket chain has signed a lease to open on the Westside at Mesa and Pitt, across from Coronado High School.
The store expects to open by the end of 2016.
The closest Whole Foods to our area is in Albuquerque and Tucson. Other new locations include Denver, Seattle, Hoover, Alabama, Tempe, Arizona, Santa Clara, California, Destin, Florida, Towson, Maryland, Woodbury, Minnesota, Lancaster and Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, and Las Colinas, Texas.
The company currently operates 401 stores and has a total of 114 stores in development.
