Most public events will be held on Saturday, March 30. But there will be plenty to do on Easter Sunday.
City Easter Egg Hunts(Saturday)
The El Paso Parks and Recreation Department will host various free Easter activities for children beginning at 10:30 a.m. There will be fun fitness obstacles to get the “Bunnies to the eggs” and children will be divided into different age groups. The event is open to ages 17 and under. The following locations will be participating:

NorthEaster Parade(Saturday • 10 a.m.)
More than 80 units will be featured in this years NorthEaster Parade. Participants include groups from Fort Bliss, the El Paso Fire Department, dance groups, Girl Scouts, Rainbow Girls and others. The event is 1 1/2 miles long and begins at 10:00 a.m. at Hercules Avenue and Diana Drive. It will travel along Diana Drive and end at the old North Park Mall.
Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Bash(Saturday • noon)
The 13th annual Easter event, sponsored by Westside Community Church, begins at noon to 3 p.m. It will be at Francisco Delgado Park, on Imperial Ridge behind Franklin High School. The event includes an egg hunt, with thousands of eggs, jumping balloon and face painting, and of course, an appearance by the Easter Bunny as well as live entertainment. Admission is free. Easter Family Gathering(Saturday • 10 a.m.)

Newman Park Egg Hunt(Saturday • 2pm)
Easter Egg Hunt for kids ages up to 12 years old, sponsored by Nazarene Border Initiative. Refreshments for adults (hotdogs, soda, & chips) while the children are searching for candy filled eggs. Newman Park, 2212 Alabama St, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., free admission. More info: (701) 721-8523
Golden Easter Egg Hunt at Armijo Aquatic Center(Saturday • 11 a.m.)
Golden Easter Egg Hunt 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Armijo Aquatic Center, 911 S. Ochoa St. The Easter Egg Hunt will be in the shallow depth area of the pool at the Aquatic Center. Free Swimming will be available to participants in the Golden Egg Hunt from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Ages 4 – 12. More information: (915) 544-3556

El Paso’s largest Easter egg hunt, brought to you by Jungle Jaks – The all you can play experience! Huge egg hunt, free cake, plus ZZ the clown! The Easter bunny will even make an appearance every hour! 1700 North Zaragoza Street, Unit 145. 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
