Capetto’s Italian Restaurant plans to reopen in a new location at the Kern Place district in West El Paso.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning on KLAQ.com

“We spoke to Edward, the owner of Cappetto’s, who was able to confirm the restaurant will be opening again this year in the Kern district,” read the post. “You’ll find them in the old Dane’s Steakhouse location at the corner of Stanton and Cincinnati.”

The restaurant closed its doors back in October without notice after 56 years in business. A note on front doors notified employees and customers that the business was closed for good.

No opening date has been announced.
